Cormac’s blog

I’m a PhD student at the University of Manchester, and I’m using this blog to document, and to help develop, my thoughts on my research, as well as other things that pop up along the way. My research is on Wikiversity (a sister project of Wikipedia and other Wikimedia sites), where I’m User:Cormaggio, and my focus, for now, is on what Wikiversity means in the (re)definition, the context, and the provision of education.

I’m also using a wiki (obviously) to work through and map my work, the literature I’m interested in, as well as the minutiae of meetings I’ve had etc. There’s a good deal more detail on me and why I’m doing this research on my user page there.
